Telekinesis… is it even real? Or simply a clever trick by an illusionist?

I’m sharing my personal experiences and experiments as I explore the edges of human potential. I invite you to bring your curiosity and your skepticism along with me.

You may have seen the reels on social media where they claim to move objects with the energy of their hands and thoughts.

Or maybe heard the myths and folklore of witch/ wizard magic.

Or heard of the yogi who after decades of deep meditation, is able to float their body above the ground.

It feels unbelievable. It seems impossible. Other than anecdotal evidence, there's no proof. If we can't explain it, it must not be real.

The videos of people moving objects through mind control are illusions. There must be a fan or magnet guiding the paper and foil to turn. Maybe it is AI. Trickery is a powerful illusion used for likes and views.

Magic is not real.

That was what ran through my head at the time.

I was a true believer of science

If science couldn't explain the anecdotal experiences, it must be an illusion - a trick to get likes and views. Plus, I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, so how can I believe that telekinesis exists?

There is no way it is possible.

But my inner child kept whispering to me.

What if magic is real? What if the myths and folklore were real stories of magic? What if we are now so disconnected to our body we've forgotten how to access magic? What if everyone possesses these powers?

As a young child, I believed in magic. My favourite TV show was of a Chinese martial arts legend 黄飞鸿 (Wong Fei Hung). I remember watching the TV show with my grandma and marvelling at the story loosely based on his life.

He was a legend whose story inspired many generations, me included.

One scene that stuck with me was when he healed someone without touching or prescribing medicine. He simply sat behind them using his hands to move around chi (energy). Afterwards, the patient would be healed.

He was also able to jump at extraordinary heights and land graciously almost like he was floating or flying. His punches and kicks had extra power from shifting his chi to his hands and feet. Much like Bruce Lee's “One Hand Punch”.

He was the epitome of a real life superhero.

It was likely that the story was exaggerated for entertainment, but for a 4 year old, a seed was planted. The unrealistic became real. Heroes had superhuman powers. People can fly. Chi can heal.

This subconscious belief continued through to my 20s. Until I casually mentioned it to an ex who reminded me superhero stories are myths. Simply a story to inspire, not real history.

But deep down… I still hoped it was real.

Fast forward to 2024, I “woke up” to energy healing. I discovered my hands could heal. Before my eyes, I saw neck bones shift, people receive immediate relief from headache, mobility return to a frozen shoulder. All through touch. No medicine was taken and my pharmacy education couldn't explain it.

My logical brain needed an explanation.

I explored energy healing and how emotions are stored and remembered in the body. I began experimenting with different ways to work with energy. And it questioned everything I was taught - especially about the human body. I began questioning the science I was trained in.

Yet my inner child was so excited. I needed to learn more.

Many rabbit holes later, 2025, I had learned enough to make sense of the magic. I realised mainstream science explains one part of magic. Other fields like Quantum Biology, Water science explains what mainstream can't.

My conclusion, the answers lie within our physiology and the energy created through our inner waters. Frequency and energy is how we are all connected and explains how we can heal each other from a distance.

That scene from my childhood TV show became a reality, not an exaggerated story.

I then created a course to share this knowledge. Soulwater Theory was a 6 week course that deep dived into the science of water, frequencies, manifestation and explored human physiology through the lens of water. It pushed the boundaries that limited human potential and it aimed to expand the realms of possibility.

That magic was everywhere and we can create it when we access our psychic powers.

At the time, it was a theory. I didn’t know if something like telekinesis was possible. Until my algorithm and deep dives showed me evidence of telepathy and telekinesis. Soulwater theory opened up the curiosity and framework of it and the reels showed potential proof.

So naturally I tried it.

I sat in front of a fluffy cat toy my daughter had made and imagined energy moving through it. I like to believe I saw subtle movements of fluff, but I still can't be sure if I had created it or if it was the heat of the sun. The more I concentrated, the easier I could see a purple glow coming from the toy and a green glow of my hands. The glow was getting bigger.

It was undeniable - energy was building between my hands. I could feel it, and see it through colours glowing from it.

Then came the idea… if I build enough energy, I will be able to move something lighter. I tried spinning square piece of paper on a toothpick (psi-wheel). Sure enough, it wobbled. Still, I wasn't completely convinced I was influencing it.

Life moved on and I had stopped practising until once again, my algorithm filled my social media with telekinesis reels.

Why not try it again?

After a few tries… I placed my hands on either side of the psi wheel, focused on relaxing the tension held in my body… set the intention for the paper to spin… and… the paper spun.

Smooth. Clockwise. Spins.

The paper followed my command.

This was the first time the psi wheel spun without trying to guide it with my hands.

My hands felt hot and I could feel energy shifting in my hands in a circular motion. I had made sure all my doors and windows were closed to prevent a draft. The only way the paper was spinning was due to my intention.

The pharmacist in me was looking for logical reasoning. “Maybe there's a draft that's spinning the wheel… maybe it's the heat from my hands… maybe I'm gaslighting myself to believe it” meanwhile the 4 year old in me was so excited because…

Telekinesis is real.

I was seeing it with my own eyes. The hopes and dreams of the 4 year old came true.

Don't believe me? Here's a video of the moment.

I believed.

There was no magnet. There was no air current. I kept my breath shallow. I made sure I didn't add any confounding factors. I simply placed my hands there and set the intention for the psi wheel to move.

Skeptics may dismiss it as a convention current that caused the wheel to spin. And this may be true. What's also true is that I created an energy flow with my hands - I felt this.

When there's an increase in moving energy, it increases the electromagnetic field (Physics101). The wheel also has a field (clairvoyants will see it as a colour). Maybe that's how it works… the 2 fields interacting with each other.

To be honest, I don't know the absolute explanation as to how it works, it simply worked. I have my own way of explaining it so it makes sense to me and your explanation may differ from mine, but if it gives the same result, does it really matter?

As long as the mystery is solved, your mind won't go searching for answers.

Whatever truth that makes magic happen is a win.

You may be thinking that I am special and was born with special abilities. Yes, that may be true. But since it's the body that performs it, it also means that you too are special and are born with the same ability.

My body is the same anatomy as yours, the only thing different is my physiology (or make up) because of my beliefs.

Physiology can be changed. Anatomy can't.

We are perfectly designed to create this magic. It's part of our biology.

If I can make this magic, so can you.

You just need to believe and break down limiting belief barriers to make it possible.

Trust that the body is more capable than we are led to believe.

If we can heal through chi without touching the body and move objects with our intention, a floating yogi or “flying” kung fu master doesn't seem so far-fetched.

And maybe, just maybe those myths we grew up hearing were real stories once upon a time. But through the ages, we had forgotten our fullest potential.

Mentally travel back to a time when you believed in magic. It was likely when you were a kid, before other people's beliefs and expectations were imposed onto you. Set those beliefs aside and let go of the hold they have to you. That's when we access our gifts and superpowers.

That was what happened to me. What began as a childhood belief, became a theory and then an embodied reality.

You don't have to believe any of this. Take it for what it's worth. Read it as entertainment.

Or believe in magic.

Either way, this is my story, my truth and journey with telekinesis.

A part of me claiming the title of "Witch who believes in Science".
